My colleagues Koen, Jan and me have been not-very-secretly working on a side project and today it’s going live: a podcast about Lowlanders who came to the Middle Kingdom long before us. It’s been fun to dive into the history of fascinating characters who were as curious about China as we are. It’s been equally fun to learn about making a podcast in the process. I enjoy doing research and trying to imagine looking at my city with the eyes of other Dutchies who arrived here a hundred or more years ago.
