DCN 6 Xizhou: Artist Talk Ruben Lundgren

Photographer and independent curator Ruben Lundgren (NL) has lived and worked in China for more than 13 years. As a photographer, his main focus is the photobook. In this talk, he will illustrate his views on China through three different photobooks that have been compiled over the past six years, including “The Chinese Photobook – from the 1900s to the Present”. He will furthermore present two recently published books: one that showcases the work of photographer Ellen Thorbecke in the China of the 1930s, and his own new publication “Real Dreams”.
